After a thorough examination by Arminian church officials, Bob was found to be only “slightly dead” in trespasses and sins.

    Kinda like the prodigal son who was dead and then went home (Luke 15:24)? :)

    Biblically speaking, dead means "separated from God". It does not mean "rotten corpse".
