We don't do Santa Claus. The kids know who he is. They wave to him at the mall. They recognize the red suit, the white beard and his reindeer.
And it ends there.
When Nolan was little, John and I discussed whether or not we would hold up the charade of Santa, and we decided not to. We also don't believe in the Easter Bunny, the tooth fairy or leprechauns either.

I've been "eavesblogging" you for a while now, and I wanted to (finally) comment and say thank you for this post! We decided a while back that we will not be inviting Santa to our Christmas celebrations, but it's been tough for our families and lots of our friends to deal with. I'm working on a post to explain our reasons why, and these links will come in handy.
As long as I'm here, I've so enjoyed reading your posts, following the links you put up, watching videos, etc here on your blog. It's encouraging to hear such mature and Godly wisdom!
