Colon Cleansing

I bet you never thought I'd be posting about this!

Now, I want to say upfront, that I haven't bought this kit, nor do I plan to in the future...though there does seem to be some fantastic results with some great pictures to match!

You see, a few days ago, while on the web, the sidebar had an interesting title about the health of your colon. I can't remember exactly what sort of catchy title they had, but it was enough to make me click on it.

I wasn't quite prepared for what came next!

This is the page that I arrived at.

It's amazing how quickly one's life can change in a blink of an eye.

I dare not post those images on my blog....and I can't really say that you will want to see what is on that page, but those photos will haunt you for the rest of your life. Every time I close my eyes, that is what I see.

The product itself is intriguing, though I don't think I have the courage to actually go through with it.

If by chance you have ever 'cleaned your colon', please tell me about it. You can even remain anonymous if you want.

You know what's funny? I instinctively put my hand up to my nose and held my breath. That was nasty!

I don't dare look at that page. I'm not even curious.

what the???
tell me WHY you would take photos of THAT?!?!

It looked like they pooped out parts of their intestines....NASTY.

I love how they have pictures of their faces side by side with the excrement, lol.

If you read the testimonials, they say that it is a rubber-like consistency...not like normal bowel movements.

I'll take their word for it, lol.

okay. I'm a nurse. I once was hospice nurse. I have been known to put on gloves, only to go where NO man should never, ever have to go.
AND STILL. those pictures are the grossest most disgusting things I've ever seen. and they might be burned forever into my memory.

if that ever came out of me, I think I would be so freaked out I would go straight to the ER because it seriously does look like intestine.

oh shannon...
soooo gross.

Ok, I couldn't look! :)

But I have had a colonoscopy. (I know I'm WAY too young.) :) Long story, but the abdominal pain I had was not from a tumor in my colon. (I felt like telling the nurses, "see you in 20 years!!" because I don't care to go through that for a LONG time. But it wasn't that bad so I do truly encourage those who need to go have it done to go!! :)
