The Gift of Worship

This video is very well done. My only criticism is that it seems to only talk of worship when we sing at church. I feel that worship is more than a weekly occurrence. Worship is a daily, hourly, minute by minute act of reverence to God. The way that we conduct our lives should be in a state of constant worship.

Thoughts?

That is a good video. I have the same complaint as you though. Worship is what our lives are suppose to be; its when I give my tithe, its how I respond to the man who cut me off this morning while I was driving to work, its how I respond to my husband after a long day of work and school...worship is not just music. A common mistake we make in our western Christianity.

Talking about "corporate worship" here: I think that quite often I get dissatisfied with worship in a corporate gathering because quite often, the songs we sing lack greatly in proclaiming the magnificence and splendor of God, but instead tend to talk about "our" good deeds for God. However, it is silly and selfish to complain if our favorite musical style isn't being proclaimed. I'm not sure about this video. I'm not saying it is necessarily wrong...it just has seems to use some "cliche" type language that kind of rubs me the wrong way.
